Police received a report shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday of an emergency, though the caller proceeded to hang up before providing details to investigators, according to Bridgeport Police.
Police said that upon calling back, the complainant reported a stabbing at a Fremont Street apartment complex.
Officers were able to track down the victim, and he was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries in serious, but stable condition. His condition was not immediately available on Monday afternoon.
The investigation into the stabbing incident is ongoing.
